The annual RDHS Club Fair had an addition of a few new clubs this year. Some of the new clubs included the American Cancer Society and the Mock Trial Club.
Multiple stands were set up in the upper gym where students could see what clubs they would like to join. Some popular clubs according to students perusing were DECA and Robotics.
Ms. Cuccio, the faculty advisor to the SGO, said that clubs have found unique ways of grabbing people’s attention “by featuring creative displays” that contained unique designs, and some clubs brought candy and fun stickers.”
Other clubs such as the Ethics Club, played games.
Ms. Cuccio, has stated that “The Club Fair was very successful…Clubs had a great amount of student sign ups as well”. Different freshmen agreed that the Club Fair was an “enjoyable” and they had “found many new and unique clubs to join.”
The gym was packed with people and most of the people there were likely to sign up for at least one club.
The Club Fair didn’t have any major problems, but some students said that “it was kind of squished” and “there wasn’t much room.”
Some clubs during the fair had small desks and other popular clubs would have crowds of people. In the end they were creative with it and made it work.
Overall, the Club Fair was a success, and for the most part people had fun.
