For the River Edge and Oradell communities, Spooky Dell is an amazing way to connect with River Dell High School students.
This year, Spooky Dell took place on a Thursday, October 24th in the front of River Dell High School on a gorgeous fall day. With car entrances blocked, over 10 tables of RDHS’s various clubs and societies were set up with activities, games and candy. Each table was themed differently ranging from Inside Out to Robots to the classic Witches and Potions.
The Red Cross Club handed out fake blood slime while the National English Honor Society provided Halloween themed temporary tattoos and “Make Your Own Character” stickers.
Another popular table, run by the Key Club, featured a “What’s in the Bucket” challenge where kids guessed what was in a Halloween bucket and a “Cups and Balls” game,
The event lasted for over two hours and the attendance rate was high with dozens of costumed kids and babies.
Clare Park, a co-founder and co-president of Key Club, declared her favorite part was seeing the kids returning to their table. “It was heartwarming and adorable to see their excitement and enthusiasm as they kept coming back for more”.
A great tradition every year, make sure to check out Spooky Dell with your family next October!
