The River Dell Freshman Formal will take place on March 5th at 6:30pm at Biaggio’s in Paramus.
The cost is presently undetermined because Ms. Simonovich, the class advisor, explained, “We still have to run the numbers.”
Biaggio’s has been the Freshman Formal destination since the Class of 2026 began the tradition. Before that the Class of 2025 hosted their Freshman Formal at The Sheridan at Mahwah.
Simonovich said that her favorite part of being the class advisor is “getting to interact with more than my classes but the whole freshman class. I feel like I wouldn’t have gotten to meet them or gotten close with them if I didn’t get into this advisor role.”
Ms. Simonovich remembers her own freshman formal well. She can still remember, “getting ready with my friends, taking pictures, going, and getting all excited for it.”
“I remember the dress, the way I did my hair. I can see it all. It was a winter theme,” recalled Simonovich.
There isn’t a theme for the Class of 2028’s Freshman Formal, “but if [the freshmen] want one. We can make one,” said Simonovich.
