This January, business students will head to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, for a four-day, three-night educational experience from January 16–19, 2026. The trip will give students hands-on opportunities to strengthen their creativity, leadership, communication, and teamwork skills — all essential in the business world.
Students will take part in behind-the-scenes workshops where they’ll explore how Disney leaders overcome challenges, collaborate effectively, and embrace diversity within teams. They’ll also learn how Disney’s dedication to excellence has made it a global model for hospitality and tourism.
Ms. Lenihan, who will lead the trip, said, “My goal is for students to better understand their own leadership styles and how to apply their strengths in a team setting.” Having completed Disney’s corporate leadership courses herself, Ms. Lenihan added, “I’m thrilled for my students to experience firsthand how teamwork and communication drive Disney’s success.”
Sophomore Khloe Williams shared her excitement about the upcoming opportunity. “I’m most excited for the new learning experiences and also the new friends that I will hopefully meet — and of course, the rides!” she said. “We’ve learned a lot in our class this year, but I’m really looking forward to learning how they manage everything at Disney, especially with the huge number of people that visit in the summer.”
Khloe also believes the experience will help her grow personally and academically. “Yes, I think this will help me work better with other people,” she said. “There are other classes going too, so I can hopefully work with them and learn even more.”
Reflecting on what makes Disney a strong learning environment, she added, “I think Disney is a great learning experience because they have so many people that go every year. Also, Disney has hotels and they take wonderful care of them. So, I think they show an excellent job of hospitality and tourism.”
This exciting experience will combine learning and fun, giving students a magical glimpse into how leadership, creativity, and collaboration come together at one of the most successful companies in the world.
