Next Friday, 1/23, the Science National Honor Society will be hosting a fun science event called the Polar Express for K–6 students. It will be held in the RDHS cafeteria and will run from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. This exciting event will give students the chance to explore, experiment, and discover how amazing science can be.
“We have received positive feedback regarding these events,” said Mrs. DeRosa-Hill, the advisor for the SNHS.
For next week, the SNHS has created six winter-themed activities for students, designed to provide interactive and memorable experiences while celebrating the winter season.
Although there are no more spots available, the SNHS guarantees that events like the Polar Express will be coming soon.
“We will have another Kids Science Night in the future,” noted the advisor.
Not only is this event a fun night for K–6 students, but it is also a fundraiser for the school. The money earned from the Polar Express will be used to fund scholarships and honor cords, as well as cover the cost of field trips.
